Bodywork that comes to you
A personalised six session Thai yoga massage journey, designed to support mobility, relaxation and overall wellbeing.
Supported stretching, acupressure, somatic movement, breath and stillness, shaped around how your body feels that day. You settle onto the mat or the table and I guide your body through slow, comfortable movement.
I bring the mat, the table, the bolsters and everything else we need. There is nothing to organise and nowhere to drive afterwards. You stay right where you are most at ease.
Clients often describe the same things afterwards. Looser through the hips. Quieter in the head. A sense of having come back into their own body.

I come to you
Your own home, within about 30km of West Hindmarsh.
Mat or table
Whichever feels best for you. I bring the equipment and every prop.
Comfortably clothed
Soft clothes you can move in. Nothing to change into.
Shaped to your day
Pressure, pace and depth adapted to how your body feels that morning.
I am coming into your home, so it matters that you know who is arriving. Senior First Aid, police clearance and Working With Children clearance, all current.
Rather hear it from me
A few minutes on what Thai yoga massage therapy involves, who it tends to suit, and how I work. If you would rather read than watch, everything below covers the same ground.
I mention paperwork in the video, so let me be clear about the order. Nothing to fill in yet. We start with a conversation. Only if we both decide this is right for you do we go through the detailed forms together.
If you have never had one
It is closer to being stretched than being massaged, although neither word quite covers it.
You rest, comfortably clothed, on a padded Thai massage mat or on a treatment table, whichever suits you better. I support your arms and legs through slow assisted movement, a little like yoga postures you are being carried into rather than holding yourself. Alongside that I work steady, comfortable pressure through points and lines along the body, and I pay attention to your breath and to the rhythm we settle into together.
The tradition this comes from treats all of that as one thing rather than as separate techniques, given at the pace of the person receiving it.
Nothing is forced. I work within the range your body offers that day, and not past it.
You are not being worked on. You are being moved, gently, by someone paying close attention.
The art behind it
This work grew up in the temples of Thailand, drawing on yoga, on Ayurvedic ideas about balance and constitution, and on the movement of the martial arts. For most of its life it was not something you booked. It was something given, one person to another, as an act of care.
The tradition maps the body with sen lines, pathways the practitioner follows with palms and thumbs while guiding the receiver through assisted postures. Practitioners have long described the whole thing as a slow dance around the person on the mat, and that is a fair description of what it looks like from the outside.
Much of what is practised in the West traces back through a small handful of teachers. Asokananda, who studied with Thai masters and first set the work down in a Western language. Then Kam Thye Chow, who founded the Lotus Palm school and spent his life making the art clear, safe and teachable without ever stripping the heart out of it.
And at the centre of it sits one idea that Kam Thye Chow never let go of. Metta. Loving kindness. The work is given with real attention and warmth, or it is only stretching.
The techniques can be learned by anyone. The quality of attention is the actual art, and that is the part I care about most.
No two sessions are the same
You do not need to arrive flexible, calm or pain free. You might be stiff, tired, wound up, or simply feeling a long way from your own body. We start there.
And you are never just a body on a mat. You bring your breath, your mood, your energy and whatever sort of week you have had. It all comes in the door with you. You do not have to leave any of it in the hallway.
Some days a body wants movement. Some days it wants stillness. I listen to what yours is telling us and let the session take that shape. Depending on the day, that might look like:
The aim is not to get more range out of your body. It is designed to help you leave feeling more comfortable, more mobile and more at home in yourself.
So you know what to expect
Your session is sixty minutes and everything sits inside it. Settling the space, arriving together, the therapy itself, and time to rest at the end. It moves gently, and it does not feel rushed.
I bring everything we need. Depending on what suits you, I set up the padded Thai massage mat or the treatment table, with cushions, bolsters and blankets around it. I do that quietly while you get comfortable, and the room is calm by the time we begin.
A short conversation before anything else. How you have been, in your body and otherwise. If you would enjoy it, I may offer you a card to reflect on. It is not fortune telling. It is a way to slow down, land in the moment and set an intention for the session, and it is always easy to say no to.
This is the heart of the hour, and this is where it becomes yours. The session may move through Thai yoga massage techniques, acupressure, supported stretching, somatic movement, breath and periods of stillness, with Reiki woven through if the moment asks for it. I tell you what I am doing before I do it and I check in as we go. Nothing is forced.
We always leave time at the end for you to rest and let the session settle, while I pack up quietly around you. If it suits you I may offer a little essential oil at the neck or temples, and I always ask first. Most people want a glass of water and a slow half hour afterwards, so try not to book anything straight after.
For this season of your life
Some seasons ask a great deal of a body, and a great deal of a woman. This work can sit quietly alongside you through them.
Everything adapts as you do. Positioning, pressure and technique all change with the stage you are at and with how you feel that particular day. Side lying with plenty of support is often the most comfortable, and the treatment table is there the moment floor level stops suiting you.
We go slowly. You tell me what your body wants and we work from there. For a lot of women, it becomes one hour in the week where somebody is looking after them for a change.
Trying to conceive can be a quietly exhausting time, emotionally as much as physically. So much of it is timed, tracked and counted.
This is an hour where nothing is being measured. Rest, gentle body awareness, a nervous system given the space to settle, and the feeling of being supported rather than assessed. It will not change what your body is doing, and I would never suggest otherwise. It can change how you feel while you wait, and plenty of women tell me that mattered more than they expected. It sits alongside the care you are already receiving, never in place of it.
Whether this suits you is something we work out together, one person at a time. If you are pregnant, or under any kind of care while you are trying to conceive, I will ask whether your midwife or doctor is happy for you to have bodywork, and I will always want to know about anything else going on in your health. Not to put a hurdle in your way. Just so we can both settle in and enjoy it.

Working together
Thai yoga massage therapy is offered as a six session wellness package, allowing us to work together consistently and support your wellbeing over time. Individual sessions are not available.
It is a considered choice, and it comes down to continuity.
Six sessions give me time to learn how your body responds. What it likes, where it holds on, what it needs more of. That is not something I can know on a first visit.
You settle in too. By the second or third visit you know exactly what to expect, and that alone changes how much you are able to let go. Each session can build on the one before, and the work evolves as you do.
Nothing is paid through this page. Payment is discussed once we have had a conversation and decided together that this is the right fit for you. The price sits here so you know where you stand, not so you have to decide today.
Six sessions is a real commitment of your time and your money. It is a commitment from me too, and I take that seriously.
So I would much rather we talked first. Tell me what has been going on for you and what you are hoping for, and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right person for it. Sometimes I am not. I would far rather say so at the beginning than have you find out in session three.
Ask me anything you like before you decide. There is no obligation in it at all, and no expectation that you will go ahead.
